I want to prove myself in Telugu more

Naga Chaitanya has been trying his level best to deliver good and healthy entertaining movies in Telugu and improve his status at the box office as an actor. His Shailaja Reddy Alludu is releasing on 13th September and he talked about his film. He said, “The movie is a wholesome entertainer. We took the proven commercial formula of Attha-Alludu and twisted it a bit to make it a fight between daughter and mother, which will be solved by the son-in-law.”

He continued, “Maruthi films are known for their comic value and we added all elements to it to make it a complete meal. As we got time with postponement, I asked My father, Nagarjuna to watch the film and he suggested few corrections and betterments. I said the same to Maruthi and producers. As they liked them, we are shooting them. We haven’t change the story or re-shooting major portion. Just 2-3 days work.”

He talked about clash with Samantha’s Film, U-Turn. He said, “I first told her that we have to release the film on 13th September only and there is no other option. She did have some funny reactions to tease me, but then she accepted after I explained her the things. Distributors did say that the weekend has space for two films and as we are coming with two different genres, I am hoping that both will be good hits.”
