Rakul Preet Singh is known for her super candidness and cute smile. She is a live wire and she proved that in many of her films. As an actress, she started her journey in Kannada, shifted to Telugu and now doing Hindi and Tamil movies too. She became extremely popular in Telugu and that helped her establish herself in Hindi and Tamil too. She has two big films in Tamil and one film in Hindi now.

But she is a Punjabi girl who is born in Delhi and brought up in several areas in North India. The actress doesn’t have a problem in adapting to different languages and different cultures. Why? She said, “From a young age, I got used to living in different areas and fast adapting to the environment there. My father, due to his work, he had postings in different places and I used to travel with the family. My parents never preferred a hostel and restricted environment for me. Hence, I understood how to mingle with people and pick up on different languages.”

She further said, “I believe it is right to try and understand the language of people whom we are surrounded by. My work takes me to different places and it is my least possible duty to learn it. So, from the first day onwards at a new place, I start observing people and try to pick up the accents and language. That will help me perform better on screen too. I am happy to be able to make a name as an actor in all the languages I worked till now and hope to continue doing so.” The actress is currently shooting for Suriya’s NGK and started working on Ajay Devgn’s Hindi film too.
