Aditi Rao Hydari is debuting in Telugu with Indraganti Mohan Krishna’s film Sammohanam. Sudheer Babu is acting as the lead opposite her and it is said to be a pure tale of romance. The actress met press today to talk about the film. She said, “I have no qualms in acting in any language. As far as my character is not removable and I am not replaceable, I will part of any movie.”
About debuting in Telugu and being an Hyderabadi, she said, “My grandfather would be happy today. As I spoke in Telugu finally making his wishes come true in the film. I was a naughty kid and I never listened to him. I always spoke in English and Urdu at home opposed to his rules that we should speak in Telugu and Urdu, only. Indraganti sir, asked me about dubbing on my own and I was at the same place thinking about dubbing for the movie on my own. This character needed me to do so and I had all the help from him.”
She said that Indraganti actually waited for her for this film. “I was busy with Bhoomi and Padmavat at the time. As both were intense roles, I did not want to listen to any narrations. But Indraganti sir approached me from different sources many times and he asked me to listen to five lines. I liked those lines and asked him to narrate the complete story. I really loved it and asked if he can wait for me. He did and I am happy that I played Sameera. I am also excited for Mani Sir’s film and Sankalp Reddy’s film, for which I trained hard,” said the actress. Sammohanam is releasing on 15th of June.
