I learnt to slow down and take one film at a time – Vijay Devarakonda

Vijay Devarakonda talked to press today about his next release, Taxiwala. He said, “I did not want to talk about the film much. But the leaks have hurt me and my team so much that I am here to let out our anguish and hope people won’t see piracy.”

He also commented that he wants to ban all pirated sites and see that legal way of streaming and downloading will only work. So that audience can pay less but pay to producers and vendors than some freeloaders.

He expressed a sense of practicality while talking about the expectations from Taxiwala. He said, “Taxiwala came out well. I saw the film and I can say that it will make a profit but it won’t be a popular hit like Geetha Govindam. My heroine thinks otherwise though. I wanted NOTA to work and that to provide a different outlook of me in a serious role and then come up with a fun film like this. I asked producers to hold the release until NOTA gets released.

I saw NOTA a day before release. I felt there are many corrections to be made. But it was too late. I learnt that we should take one film at a time and concentrate on it more. I will be doing that in future. Dear Comrade will release later next year. I have big hopes on it,” concluded the actor. Movie is releasing on 17th November.
