She said, “I am playing Varsha in this movie. It is not too close to myself in real life but there are instances in the script that I could connect with her. Venky, the director, came up with such a convincing script, that we will cry even while reading the scenes. I am really that I got this offer. I had to lose about 5 kilos to play the college girl and it did not feel like strain as Varun Tej and I went through the same gym training. He with our trainer made it fun to work out and several times he used to work out three times a day.”
She talked about her first crush too. “I had a proper crush at the age of seventeen and the same boy proposed to me as well. But it did not work out. Drawing from those experiences, I did my best to bring Varsha on screen,” said the actress. She is presently doing three Tamil films and soon, she said she will announce her next in Telugu.
