Allari Naresh is one of the lead actors of Telugu Cinema who took the mantle of humour in his movies. He is the one actor after Rajendra Prasad and Naresh, in our Telugu Cinema who can be called as the comic lead actor and he successfully completed 50 films too. But the actor had to slow down as he has been giving flops ever since his Sudigadu and the actor finally decided to do a remake of Malayalam movie, Oru Vadakkan Selfie, Meda Mida Abbayi that is releasing on 8th of September. He talked to the press about the movie and shared some interesting things about his future as well.

He said, “ I saw the movie, Oru Vadakkan Selfie and thought it will be a good movie to do in Telugu but never thought about me remaking it. When producer came with the idea, I saw the movie and decided to go ahead with few changes here and there. But as we started writing it in Telugu, I realised, if we change too much, then we will lose the beauty of the subject and decided to just change few interactions and add some more comedy in the character of my friend. Hence, we decided to rope in the same director, who made the movie in Malayalam, Prajit.”

He continued, “ You will me not trying to force comedy into every situation and the movie will be highly different from my earlier films. Post this movie, I have realised that I should try as many characters as I can within the commercial space and should not fix to just being a comic actor. You will see me doing more diverse roles in future like I did early in my career.” He further stated that he will be starting shooting of his next movies in October. Nikhila Vimal and Hyper Aadi along with Avasarala Srinivas are playing the other important characters in the movie.
