Nivetha Peturaj is slowly but surely becoming another young actress in Telugu Cinema, who can act and not just a pretty face. She is said to be in the league of Nitya Menen and Nivetha Thomas. She did four Tamil movies and a popular actress there. Now, she debuted with Mental Madilo in Telugu and after a confident performance, she is happy to receive the positive response from audiences.

She said, “I am from Dubai, but my father is a Telugu man from Chennai. I was born in Chennai and brought up in Dubai. From last 15 years, my father is working in Dubai and I got this recognition without even desiring for it. One day, a friend took me to a place in the name of breakfast and that is auditions for Miss India Dubai. After getting selected, I worked out in gym and got the desired shape for the competition. Then, I realised we cannot let face lose much fat as it won’t help us maintain consistent look. As I won it, I resolved to go for yoga and other light exercises that help me maintain my physique and I am thankful for all the love I get.”

She continued, “I have a phobia for water as I had a near death experience during a scuba diving session. That stayed in my head like that and expect of it is highly needed I won’t step near the swimming pools even. I really like to have a good arranged marriage as that will save all the time, money in the name of love. I can understand Telugu but I am learning to speak slowly as I don’t want to make many mistakes. I love travelling and recently, went to Fiji for Venkat Prabhu’s film and it is a memorable place to travel. Soon, I will announce my next in Telugu.”
