I Earn Honestly: Akshay Kumar On Money-Minded Label

Akshay Kumar recently gave a clear reply to those who call him “money-minded”. The actor said he doesn’t care about such comments as long as his earnings come from hard work and honesty.

Apart from acting, Akshay is also a producer and is one of India’s highest tax-paying celebrities. While promoting his latest film Jolly LLB 3, he addressed the criticism directly showing his discipline and strong work ethic.

Akshay explained that he earns through work, not by cheating or stealing. For the past eight years, he has been the highest taxpayer in the country.

He added that money is important for practical life and he also uses it for charity and service. He stressed that as long as someone earns through effort, there’s no problem.

His new film Jolly LLB 3, co-starring Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla is now in theatres and winning attention.
