Tharun, by the start of this millennium, he became the poster boy for chocolate boy hero on Telugu screens. He got huge hits like Nuvve Kavali, Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu and Priyamaina Neeku. His career then saw some lows and even though he did continue to give few hits like Nuvve Nuvve, they became highly scarce. He couldn’t continue to deliver more and more romantic films and his market as a hero came down heavily.
His last films released in 2014. Not many remember them and the actor said, “I know people loved me once and that connect is still there. Nothing is permanent and we have to take both success and failures in our stride. We do not know which Friday, will change our life, so we should keep working hard. I am now coming back after a break and am positive that people will like me in this new film.”
His latest film, Idi Naa Love Story, is releasing on 14th February and the actor toured across the two Telugu states to promote the film. Oviya Helen, acted in this movie as the lead actress. The movie has Tharun in three shades and the actor is happy that he took a gap. He said, “Good things happen to people who patiently work for them. I wanted to re-energise myself after such lows and now, I am ready to show people what I am upto in all these years. I have no regrets in how my career took shape but hope to continue entertaining audiences, further too.”
