I am happy with my career progress – Trisha

Trisha Krishnan is one actress, who saw heights of stardom in Southern films and had caught up in lows like mms scandals and police cases for rash behaviour. Beyond all these exterior things, her demeanour in public has always been sweet, warm and welcoming. She caught up with media recently, owing to her new film release for this DIwali, with Dhanush.She said she is happy to share screen space with Dhanush for the first time in Dharmayogi and she would love to do more films with him if the other permutations and combinations work out.

About having a long career opposed to short careers that her contemporaries had, she said she is lucky and she likes the way her career progressed over years. She also thanked her fans and audience for accepting her and appreciating her efforts.When asked about her current choices to stick to more women oriented scripts, she said she is happy that she is in a position to choose he scripts she want to be part off and she will act in those films and those films only, that will give her a satisfaction as actress and some material to show off her skills.

She said she will always be thankful to the films like Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana, Varsham, Ghilli, Yennai Arindhal, Vinaithandi Varuvaya for the best characters she could have asked for. She shared her excitement for playing a part with negative shades for the first time in her career and she said her character is most important in Dharmayogi and hoped people will accept her this avatar too.
