Samantha Akkineni has completed her parts in Rangasthalam, releasing on 30th of March and Mahanati, Savitri biopic, releasing on 9th May, as off the producer’s recent announcement. The entire movie production of Mahanati is also completed today and the entire team gave a tribute to Savitri. The movie is also dedicated to the memory of Sridevi, another great actress who left us recently.
Samantha Akkineni is promoting her ready for release Rangasthalam and in an interview talked about her changes in personal life, after marriage. She got married to Naga Chaitanya Akkineni in October last year. The actress said, “After Marriage, my priorities have changed like any married girl. I think more about my home and am pre-occupied with thoughts about what is important to my house and how can I re-design it. What should I do, when we (she and her husband) meet after being apart for work? But I keep all of them aside while on sets.”
She continued, “On set, I am a professional who is trying to do her job. Off the set, I am Samantha Akkineni. My work should not affect my family life and the name. I keep that in my kind more these days and the way, I choose my roles depend on that one aspect more now. I enjoy being on set and professionally I am still that actress who tries to deliver the best possible competent performance to the best of my ability. Off the camera, I am a married woman now and my thoughts always go in that direction only.” Rangasthalam is directed by Sukumar and Ram Charan Tej, Adhi Pinisetty, Naresh, Rohini, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu are playing important roles.
