Teenage love stories have always been popular. Husharu Pittalu is a new teenage love story that created good buzz with its teaser. With Suresh Productions releasing the film, expectations have increased. Despite several big releases on August 15th, the makers are confidently bringing this small film to theatres.
Husharu Pittalu Story: Ravi is a brilliant student who is raised by his hardworking mother, while his father stays distant from the family. Chitti, a young girl raised lovingly by her father after losing her mother, develops feelings for Ravi.
Ravi’s jealous classmate Balanna tries to spoil his life by exposing him to adult content and encouraging him to chase girls. Ravi and Chitti fall in love and lose focus on studies and family. Their relationship takes a shocking turn when a hidden truth is revealed.
Performances: The film has a mostly new cast, and they perform well. Ansh is good, while Vasavi Ganesan does a decent job. Govardhan Reddy stands out as the heroine’s father, especially in the emotional scenes. Sunitha and Prani Reddy also impress, with Prani adding comedy. Ramesh Nakirekanti fits well as the hero’s father, and the grandfather’s role is entertaining.
Technical Aspects: Husharu Pittalu has a simple story, and the first half feels slow at times. The second half improves with emotional scenes involving the hero’s and heroine’s parents. Some scenes carry meaningful messages and connect well with the audience.
However, a few sequences lack logic, and the climax feels incomplete. Charan Arjun’s music and background score are good, while the production values could have been better.
