Hero Sudheer Babu’s cop drama, titled, Hunt under the directed by Mahesh Surapaneni had a theatrical release yesterday. Opened to poor word of mouth, Hunt failed miserably to generate minimum revenues on the opening day.
Trade reports say that Hunt has witnessed zero share on the first day. Reportedly, the film’s pre-release business is done for Rs 5.9 crore and should collect Rs 6.2 crore to achieve break-even status. The first-day reports suggest that Hunt is going to be a washout disaster at the box office.
This cop drama also has Srikanth, Premisthe Bharath and Manjula Ghattamaneni in key roles. Noted music composer Ghibran has composed the background score for the film which fails to register. Even the stunts composed by the Hollywood action choreographer duo Renaud and Brain failed to impress. Anand Prasad produced Hunt under Bhavya Creations banner.
