Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi is one of the finest actors in the industry, and reportedly, she has joined the cast of the Emmy award-winning show, Delhi Crime season 3. The critically acclaimed Netflix series also stars Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal, Rajesh Tailang, and others.
As per a recent report in Variety, Huma Qureshi will play the role of an antagonist in Delhi Crime’s third installment, which is currently in the post-production phase. The news portal has also revealed that Huma will be shown as the show’s “most formidable antagonist yet,” facing off against Shefali Shah, who plays DCP Vartika Chaturvedi in the web series.
As quoted in the report, Huma confirmed playing a negative role in the show, saying, “I was delighted and honored when the makers approached me to play the antagonist for the third season of this internationally acclaimed show,” she said.
Delhi Crime’s third season is directed by Tanuj Chopra and is slated to arrive on OTT giant Netflix in 2025, although the release date is yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Huma Qureshi will also be seen in the courtroom comedy-drama Jolly LLB 3 alongside Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi.
