Huge Demand for Avatar2 in Telugu States

Reputed Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron’s 2009 sci-fi adventure thriller, Avatar was a massive hit across the globe. The film’s dubbed Indian versions like Hindi, Telugu and Tamil performed beyond imagination back then.

Now, the second installment of the emotional sci-fi drama, Avatar- The Way of Water is gearing up for a worldwide release on December 16th. As the film is carrying good hype among moviegoers, film distributors across the globe are keen on cashing in on the craze for the film.

Especially, the craze for Avatar2 is next level in India. Now, the latest we hear from trade circles is that the makers of Avatar are quoting massive prices for theatrical rights in twin Telugu states. A massive of Rs 100 crore is the quotation from the makers for Telugu distribution rights. If the news turns into reality, will the film manage to collect Rs 100 crore share in Telugu states? Remains to be seen.

Avatar: The Way of Water has Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez and Sigourney Weaver in lead roles. The film has been bankrolled by 20th Century Fox and has its music by James Horner.
