Hrithik Roshan Reflects On His Private Wedding To Sussanne Khan

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan got married on December 20th 2000. In an old interview Hrithik reflected on his new life after marriage.

Although it took time for him to adjust, he mentioned that they had not fought even once since their wedding, despite being together for six years before that.

When asked about media attention on his marriage, Hrithik said, “I just wanted us to be left alone. For the first time, I didn’t feel bad about feeling this way. I wanted our marriage to be private”. He was shocked when their wedding photos appeared in the papers.

Hrithik also shared that the wedding date wasn’t set in stone but was narrowed down to two options. After consulting astrologers, they chose December 20, although Hrithik preferred January 13 the day he met Sussanne.

The wedding was planned quickly with only a week to organize everything. It was a small ceremony with just close family and friends.

After separating Hrithik and Sussanne have remained on good terms and continue to co-parent their sons.
