Varun Dhawan recently revealed that he turned down the opportunity to star in Andhadhun, one of the most acclaimed Bollywood films of recent years.
Varun shared that he was first offered the film but had to decline because he was already committed to another project which was a crazy subject.
He also disclosed that he and Kangana Ranaut were originally being considered for the lead roles in that thriller.
Eventually the film starred Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte whose performances received widespread praise in a great way. Andhadhun became a major critical and commercial success.
The gripping story of the film and unexpected twists won over many helping it emerge as one of the most and most celebrated thrillers in Indian cinema.
