This film had been made in three languages Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The horror comedy genre has been well received over the years and the makers wish to cash in on the trend. Tamannah pinned all her hopes of returning to top position in Telugu and Tamil with the film, while she can also breakthrough into the Hindi industry that had been evading her. She released three films in Hindi with three stars but to her bad luck none of the films worked in a big way that she hoped they would.
Prabhu Deva is returning to acting in Tamil and Telugu after a good long break of 12 years. He had been busy directing movies in various languages.Kona Venkat is producing the film in Telugu, while Prabhu Deva himself is producing the film in Tamil and the other cast member Sonu Sood is producing the film in Hindi.
