Yo Yo Honey Singh is charged with kidnapping and assaulting the head of an event organisation after a complaint was made against him.
Yo Yo Honey Singh is once again at the centre of a heated debate, and this time the accusation is very serious. The rapper and performer is charged with kidnapping and beating an event organiser in Maharashtra, according to reports. At the Bandra Kurla Complex Police Station, a guy by the name of Vivek Raman has filed a formal complaint against the celebrity. Evidently, a financial problem forced the cancellation of the planned event.
Singh has frequently been featured in the media for igniting scandals. Shalini Talwar, the singer’s ex-wife, accused him of domestic abuse in 2021 and received Rs 1 crore as alimony as part of their divorce settlement. His songs have frequently gotten him into problems because to their suggestive and offensive lyrics, and in the past, rumours of a feud between him and Shah Rukh Khan and Badshah generated a lot of excitement.
As per reports, “Vivek Raman, the owner of an event company, has lodged a complaint against Honey Singh and others for kidnapping, keeping him captive, and assaulting him.” Apparently, Yo Yo Honey Singh kept the owner captive in a hotel in Mumbai.
Vivek Raman had planned the event at BKC on April 15, but it was postponed because of financial difficulties, according to the lawsuit. Yo Yo Honey Singh decided to take matters into his own hands and reportedly use criminal ways to make up for the loss because this did not sit right with him.
According to the article, the Lungi Dance singer received assistance from his friends in the alleged crime. Mumbai Police is looking into the situation and will have a resolution soon.
Yo Yo Honey Singh has previously gotten himself into legal trouble. According to Times Of India, Anandpal Singh Gurnam Singh Jabbal accused him of posting insulting and derogatory songs on several websites a few years back.
