In today’s times, we came across many Telugu movies which are a hit in theatres but lacks good response when released online on OTT platform. Now, we bring you the list of films which went on become a hit in theatres flop in OTT- Telugu movies.

• Jathi Ratnalu

Jathi Ratnalu is a comedy capper which released in 2021 and went on to become a super success at the box office. Later, the film had an OTT release on Amazon Prime Video but failed to grab the audience attention. Starring Naveen Pholishetty,Rahul Ramakrishna, Priyadarshini and Faria Abdullah as the lead characters, the film was rejected by the digital audience.

• Dhamaka

Starring Ravi Teja and Sree Leela as the lead pair, Dhamaka ended up as a good hit at the ticket windows. Later, the film was streamed on Netflix but failed to grab the audience attention. Typical mass entertainer might be the reason behind OTT audience rejecting the movie.

• HIT 2

Starring Adivi Seshu in the lead role, HIT2 was released in month of December and ended up as a good hit at the box office but failed to please the digital audience. Lack of gripping narrative might be reason behind the audience rejecting the movie.

• Veera Simha Reddy

Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Veera Simha Reddy released during the Sankranthi festival season. Cashing in on Balayya’s mass image, the film managed to collect more than Rs 100 crore gross at the box office. But the film failed to grab the digital audience attention. Lack of freshness in the plotline and same old kind of treatment might be reason behind rejecting the movie.

• Yashoda

Samantha starrer Yashoda released in the month of November and managed to attain success mark at the ticket windows but flopped miserably to witness good viewership when released on the digital platform Amazon Prime Video.

• Oke oka Jeevitham

Sharwanand starrer Oke Oka Jeevitham had a theatrical release in month of October and managed to ended up as good hit at the box office but failed to grab the digital audience attention when released online.

• Brahmastra: part one

Touted as a fancy drama, Brahmastra:Part one ended up as a solid hit at the box office.when the film was released online it failed to create magic.

• 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela

Starring anchor turned actor Pradeep manchiraju and Amritha Iyer as the lead pair the film was a good hit at the box office. But when released online it failed to grab the audience attention due to reasons unknown.

• Waltair Veerayya

Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ravi starrer mass entertainer, Waltair Veerayya had a theatrical release during the Sankranthi festival season and collected a huge money at the ticket windows. But the film failed to grab the audience attention when released online due to overdose of action and outdated presentation.

• Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali

Starring Sudheer Babu and Kirthi Shetty as the lead pair Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali had a theatrical release last year and managed to attain critically acclaimed status. But surprisingly, the film failed even to grab the digital audience attention due to reasons unknown.
