Delhi witnessed a grand celebration as thousands of fans attended the first public screening of Thamma marking the beginning of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU).
For the first time in Indian cinema audiences got to watch the first 20 minutes of a film before its official release making it a historic event.
Hosted by comedians Biswa Kalyan Rath and Divay Agarwal, the night was full of energy, laughter and excitement, with surprise appearances by Stree and Bhediya stars.
Producer Dinesh Vijan said, “This is the start of a new fan tradition. From now on, fans will get an early look at our films”.
The preview left the crowd thrilled, especially during Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s entry. Stars like Paresh Rawal, Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushmann Khurrana also graced the event.
Advance bookings for Thamma opened the next morning and received an overwhelming response. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and Thamma hits theatres on October 21st.
