Hiranyakasyapa might have to take big cut in the budget!

Rana Daggubati planned few films after his Haathi Mere Sathi release and already he completed 80% of the shoot for his film, Viratparvam. But his biggest bet has been the film, Hiranyakasyapa. He is playing the role of the demon King in the film to be directed by Gunasekhar. The movie was planned as VFX treat and Suresh Babu decided to spend most on this film doing away with his conservative approach. He planned to release the film Pan-India and sat on the script from past two years to get everything right.

Before the team can take the film on to the floors, movie team is looking to make big changes to cope up with the situation. While the producer doesn’t want to take a call on the budget yet, the inside talk is that the director might come up with an affective model of making the film in half the budget that they first planned to spend on the film. Final decision will be taken after analysing the market situation post lockdown and the producer is actually worried about people feeling safe to come to theaters to watch films. As the control in number of cases per day needs to be achieved everywhere to restore normalcy or some strong vaccine needs to be developed, he wants to tread carefully in coming months, it seems.
