It is widely known that Tollywood hero Nani’s 2019 emotional sports drama, Jersey is being remade in Hindi with the same title. Starring Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor in the lead role, Gowtam Tinnanuri, who directed the original version is helming the Hindi version is also. Mrunal Thakur is reprising Shraddha Srinath in the Hindi remake.
While Allu Arvind is presenting the movie, Dil Raju and Aman Gill are producing Jersey in Hindi. The makers have already announced that the film will hit the screens on December 31st. But the latest we hear from Bollywood sources is that the film’s bookings are yet to open on online ticket booking portals. On the other hand, though just four days are left for the film’s release, the makers are seen taking the promotions lightly and not even revealing anything about the release.
As per a few Bollywood reports, as night curfew is imposed in most of the states in the North belt and in metropolitan South cities like Bangalore, the team is left in dilemma on the film’s release. However, an official announcement regarding Jersey’s release on December 31st is yet to be out.
