Balakrishna has always been the person who made off-beat choices when it came to his selection of projects and directors, in the sense that he always chose different scripts and directors who hadn’t worked on big projects earlier. This resulted in varying results, with some movies turning out to be disasters, while others worked wonders at the box office. At the same time, his contemporaries were busy making movies with directors who were very much in demand and had been delivered back-to-back successes.
Now, for the first time in a really long time, Balayya does have an edge over all of his contemporaries, who seem to be stuck. While Chiranjeevi is sticking to doing a lot of remakes, and Venkatesh is right behind him with a few remakes lined up, Nagarjuna seems to be finding it difficult to pick the right script. At a time like that, NBK is ruling the roost, with highly promising films lined up for him.
The actor is currently busy with director Gopichand Malineni’s film, and will then begin Anil Ravipudi’s film, and both the films have really good buzz surrounding them. Thereafter, he is expected to collaborate with Boyapati once again.
