Here’s the new release date for Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi

Thalaivi, a biopic on yesteryear diva and former Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa was supposed to hit the screens in April itself but the Covid second wave crisis disturbed the film’s release plans. Starring Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut in the titular role, the film is directed by Kollywood filmmaker AL Vijay.

Meanwhile, the latest news is that Thalaivi makers have decided to release the film on September 10th. Confirming the same, a new poster with the release date came out this afternoon. Thalaivi also stars Aravind Swami as MGR, Poorna as Sasikala and Madhubala in crucial roles.

Vishnu Induri and Shaailesh R Singh produced this pan-India project which will have a simultaneous release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
