Here’s an update on Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe

Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film, Annaatthe, is in making for the past year or so. The film’s shooting was halted a couple of times earlier due to the prevailing Covid circumstances.

In the month of March, the film’s shooting resumed in Chennai and later it was shifted to Hyderabad for a key schedule in the last week of April. After canning a few important scenes on Rajinikanth and Nayanthara, the film unit left to Chennai after the Telangana state government has imposed lockdown restrictions in the state.

Now, the latest we hear from our Kollywood sources is that the shooting for Annaatthe has been completed. News is also that the film unit has watched the film’s rushes recently and expressed confidence in the picture’s success. Being directed by Siva, Annaatthe also has Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Jagapathi Babu among others in the key roles. Sun Pictures banner is bankrolling the movie which is scheduled for a Diwali 2021 release.
