Color Photo team is back with a web film titled, Heads&Tales. The film is premiered on Zee5 today. Let’s check how it is.
Story: Heads&Tales in a story of three women Alivelu Manga( Divya Sripada), Anisha( Sri Vidya) and Shruthi ( Chandini Rao). Each of them will be having issues in their personal life. How will the three women cross paths? Forms the rest of the story.
Performances: Three women Divya Sripada, Sri Vidya and Chandini Rao are decent in their respective roles. While Divya Sripada is very good with typical Rayalaseema slang as a cop, Sri Vidya did okay in her role as a struggling actress. Coming to Shruthi, she is cute on the screen and did her extended cameo role convincingly.
Sunil is not so appealing in the God character. Color Photo fame Suhas did a special appearance that fails to register.
Other actors who did other supporting roles are just okay in their roles.
Technicalities: The cinematography by Venkat R Shakamuri is alright as he captured the night mood of the film nicely.
Editing work by Kodati Pavan Kalyan is okay as he kept the film’s runtime within the limits. Dialogues are decent but would have been surely better to elevate the emotional scenes.
Music by star music director Mani Sharma is a plus point for this content-oriented drama. Production values are rich and so is the case with the premise created for the movie.
Analysis: Director Sai Krishna Enreddy is a decent job and tried to present the film in a nice manner. Though there are a few dull moments in the narrative, overall, the director managed to deal with the film with some realistic characterizations.
The chemistry between Divya Sripada and Sri Vidya is good and gives a perfect shape to the movie. The conversations between them bring a lot of depth to the proceedings.
Overall, Heads&Tales is a passable web film that revolves around the life story of three young women. Though the film runs on a slow note, an impressive performance from lead actors make it a watchable drama.
Verdict: Decently executed women drama!
