Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’s combo has always delivered big hits, with their last film Akhanda being a blockbuster. Now the sequel Akhanda 2: Thandavam is underway and the shoot is progressing in Hyderabad.
The latest update is that Harshali Malhotra known for her role as the little girl in Bajrangi Bhaijaan will be seen in a key role in Akhanda 2.
She plays a character named Janani, and her first look in a traditional half saree has been revealed receiving a positive response.
Boyapati Srinu is moving fast with the shoot aiming to meet the release deadline. Most of the film is already completed, with only a few scenes and a special song left. Post-production and CGI work are also happening at high speed.
Produced by Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, and presented by Tejaswini Nandamuri, Akhanda 2 is scheduled for a Dussehra release on September 25th.
