With the elections capturing the attention of people in Andhra Pradesh, director Harish Shankar shared an interesting post on social media. Though he didn’t say any names, many assume that his words are the evidence of his support for his icon, Pawan Kalyan, and the criticism of the ruling party.
In his post Harish Shankar called out voters to consider candidates who are really concerned about helping the people rather than seeking for personal benefits which might be like Pawan Kalyan who does good deeds to the community.
Such decision making, he said, should leave the duty of selection to the voters and not to anybody else. His comments on the pressing of the EVM button were in line with the current political discourse, particularly the rule party’s welfare schemes. Next to Pawan Kalyan, many celebrities have announced their support for the star, leading to the prediction of the actor’s support by Harish Shankar.
Peoples are picking every word of his, decoding the statements through the election war filter. In general, he argues that voting is an important right and a duty, and he urges citizens to be proactive in their roles in the state’s future.
