Harish Shankar doesn’t want a remake with Mega Star

Mega Star Chiranjeevi liked immensely the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer. He immediately made Ram Charan buy the remake rights of the project. Initially, Sujeeth has been selected as the director. The young director of Saaho fame has failed to impress Mega Star with the changes.

Then the project went into the hands of VV Vinayak. Chiranjeevi trusts Vinayak a lot. It was him who directed the comeback film of Chiranjeevi. So Chiru handed over the responsibilities of Lucifer remake to V.V. Vinayak. However, this commercial director has even failed to impress the actor.

So eventually, Harish Shankar has been approached. But the news is that the director doesn’t want to direct a remake with Chiranjeevi. Instead, he politely said to the mega camp that he will come up with an exciting script for Mega Star. It is known that Harish Shankar will be directing Pawan Kalyan next year.
