Hari Hara Veera Mallu: A risk to take it to Bollywood?

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is about to entertain his audiences in his first-ever periodic film, in the form of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. The shooting for this film started in early 2020, and was supposed to have wrapped up by the third quarter of 2020, but got postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The first look teaser of Hari Hara Veera Mallu was released early this year and the teaser enthralled everyone. With Pawan playing a character on the lines of Robin Hood, fans were ecstatic to see him in a periodic avatar. Krish is a well-known name in Bollywood, and he has even roped in Bollywood actors Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez to play important roles in Hari Hara Veera Mallu.

It is also known that Krish is planning to release the film in Hindi as well, along with releasing it in all south Indian languages. Given that Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez are a part of the film, the film might get good openings in Bollywood, but audiences feel it’s a huge risk to release the film in Hindi, given that Pawan’s Sardar Gabbar Singh failed in Hindi. Pawan’s fans were highly disappointed when Sardar didn’t even get decent openings in Hindi and do not want Krish to take another risk like that. It is now to be seen if HHVM will follow Sardar’s footsteps, or if it will create a new record for Pawan.
