Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan have reunited after almost 18 years for director Priyadarshan’s Hindi thriller Haiwaan.
The film officially began shooting in Kochi, Kerala. This marks their first collaboration since Tashan (2008), making it a nostalgic comeback for the popular duo.
Akshay shared a behind-the-scenes video from the sets where he playfully teased both Saif and Priyadarshan. Dressed in a T-shirt that read ‘Saint’, Akshay held a clapperboard as Priyadarshan joked that it should actually say “Haiwaan”.
Laughing along, Akshay hinted that maybe Saif is the ‘devil’ the audience doesn’t yet know. Posting the video online, Akshay wrote about how everyone has a little devil inside and expressed his excitement about working with his favorite director and Saif once again.
Haiwaan is reportedly the Hindi remake of Priyadarshan’s 2016 Malayalam hit Oppam. Produced by KVN Productions and Thespian Films, it also stars Kajol, Bobby Deol, and Einar Haraldsson. The film is slated for release in 2026.
