GV Prakash Kumar is being widely praised on social media for helping a patient in Coimbatore with Rs. 50,000 towards urgent medical expenses.
The music director noticed a crowdfunding appeal on Twitter where a user shared details about a patient undergoing treatment at PSG Hospitals and requested financial assistance.
Moved by the hard situation Prakash immediately donated Rs. 50,000 and shared a screenshot of the transaction online.
Along with this donation he wished the patient a much speedy recovery for sure and expressed hope that the appeal was genuine.
While many appreciated his quick and generous response, others questioned whether the fundraiser had been fully verified and whether sharing the payment screenshot was necessary. The discussion very soon became a major talking point now.
