GV Prakash and Raaj Kamal Production come together for SK21

Sai Pallavi will play the major role in the Rajkumar Periasamy-helmed film SK21.

Sai Pallavi will play the lead role in an intriguing movie that Sivakarthikeyan and Raaj Kamal Productions are working on. The untitled movie, which will be written and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, is now known as SK21. A new star has been added to the roster of the cast and crew members of the movie, which is thought to have recently begun production. They now include musician G. V. Prakash Kumar.

Taking to Twitter, and giving a warm welcome to G. V. Prakash Kumar as the latest team member of SK21, Raaj Kamal Productions wrote, “Welcome onboard @gvprakash for mission #SK21 #Ulaganayagan #KamalHaasan #Sivakarthikeyan #SK21JoiningForces #RKFIProductionNo_51 @ikamalhaasan @Siva_Kartikeyan #Mahendran @Rajkumar_KP @gvprakash @Sai_Pallavi92 @RKFI @ladasingh”. Confirming the announcement, the composer added, “A superb script from director @Rajkumar_KP … waiting for this beauty to translate soon . This boy is going to make it big … thanks #Mahendran sir”.

Rajkumar replied, “You are very kind, dear @gvprakash bro! Thank you!! I’ve always treasured ur talent.. Can’t wait to see you do ur magic as always.. We r so glad that u enjoy being part of this journey! Welcome on board for #SK21”

About the project Sivakarthikeyan said, “It’s a project filled with multiple emotions for me. Kamal Haasan sir is a master craftsman of Indian Cinema. Infact he’s an international icon living amidst us. To work on a project in which this iconic legend is the producer, itself is a great feeling for me. Sony Pictures Films India is again a global brand who have their humongous success tag right there along their name. I’m very happy to be working along them. And all this has become possible today, only due to my friend, director Rajkumar Periasamy and his script. I firmly believe this project is going to be a very important film in my career.”

Along with God Bless Entertainment serving as co-producers, SPFI, who is making their debut in the Tamil film industry, will produce the movie.
