In response to the prevailing discussions about director Trivikram‘s role in Mahesh Babu‘s film “Guntur Kaaram,” producer Naga Vamsi highlighted the collaborative effort between the actor and director. While acknowledging Mahesh Babu’s remarkable performance and skills, Vamsi emphasized that it’s the director who shapes and guides the actor.
He quipped, “Who made him do that? It is Director Gaaru only know?” Vamsi explained that the perception of the film being solely Mahesh’s show stems from the audience’s focus on the actor on screen. He humorously pointed out that it wouldn’t be practical for the director to appear on screen and execute tasks.
The producer added that despite the audience seeing Mahesh prominently, it is always a two-man show, and Guntur Kaaram is no exception. Addressing the film’s commercial success, Vamsi expressed confidence, noting that almost 90% of the breakeven point has been achieved in many areas, including the significant Andhra zone. He anticipated that buyers and distributors would soon enjoy financial success, suggesting a positive outcome for everyone involved in the film.
