Gunturu Kaaram Day 1 Collections – Mahesh Babu Smashes Opening Records

Mahesh Babu’s latest mass masala movie, “Guntur Kaaram,” hit screens with a bang, receiving a grand reception from fans and high anticipation. Despite mixed reviews, the film achieved a remarkable start, setting a new record in Mahesh’s career and for regional cinema.

With a total theatrical rights value of 133Cr, the film exceeded expectations by collecting over Rs 53Cr on its opening day, recovering 40% of its investment. Impressively, it secured excellent openings across all territories, excluding the Ceeded region.

Guntur Kaaram now stands as the fourth biggest Telugu film opening worldwide, following RRR, Salaar, and Baahubali2 all of which are pan Indian big budget productions. Notably, this regional film, led by Mahesh Babu and directed by Trivikram, emerges as the top opener among the four, highlighting the actor’s one-man show.

Mahesh’s superb performance and mass appeal have garnered acclaim, making Guntur Kaaram a significant success in the regional film record.
