Anurag Kashyap’s next film Nishaanchi is all set to release in theatres on September 19, 2025. The film marks Kashyap’s return to the rural crime genre, over a decade after his cult classic Gangs of Wasseypur.
The first-look poster has been unveiled, introducing debutant Aaishvary Thackeray in a double role. Aaishvary the son of Smita Thackeray and grandson of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray, plays twin brothers with completely opposite personalities.
The poster released by Amazon MGM Studios India, features Aaishvary in two distinct looks and is filled with visuals like guns, handcuffs, money and mangoes, setting the tone for a quirky, action-packed crime drama.
The tagline ‘Dil thamiye, jaan bachaiye’ adds to the excitement reminding audiences of the intense energy seen in Gangs of Wasseypur.
Nishaanchi also stars Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Kumud Mishra and promises a gripping story.
