It is already reported that senior director Gunashekhar has resumed the shooting for his ambitious pan-India project, Shaakuntalam a couple of days back. Starring Samantha in the lead role, the film also has Malayalam actor Dev Mohan in a key role.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that Gunashekhar is planning to shoot for the film at nearby places around the famous Gandipet lake area. As per the reports, the film shootings were restricted in and around the Gandipet lake area a few years back but Gunashekhar somehow managed in getting permission to shoot for the film.
Shaakuntalam also marks the silver screen debut of Allu Arjun’s daughter Arha in a prominent role as a child artist. The film is a mythological drama and is being presented by Dil Raju.
