In a world where artificial intelligence (AI) is taking over, actor Gulshan Devaiah is all about supporting and promoting artists financially.
Actor Gulshan Devaiah thinks it is his duty to support the artists financially in exchange for their work as the world becomes upgraded with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), with the former taking over creative jobs. He is receiving a lot of positive feedback for his performance in the recently released streaming series “Dahaad.”
Prasad Bhat, the creator of Graphicurry and a caricaturist based in Bengaluru, recently contacted Gulshan to offer to caricature some of his well-known characters as a tribute to him as an actor.
Gulshan Devaiah was unable to accept it without payment. Gulshan was moved by the gesture and gave the artist a commission for the piece.
Gulshan Devaiah said, “If I really like something, then I’m willing to pay for it,” in reference to the same. In this era of machine learning and artificial intelligence, the least I can do to assist artists is to offer to pay them their rates. I am really grateful and honored to receive proposals from artists to create something for me for free.
In films and television shows like Commando 3, Dahaad, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, Ghost Stories, Durangaa, Badhaai Do, Hunterrr, Death in the Gunj, and That Girl in Yellow Boots, Prasad chose Gulshan’s appearance.
Prasad volunteered to make me something, the actor added. I thought his proposal was cool and decided to hire him to create an artistic summary of my professional life to date. Each of Prasad’s caricatures brings back beautiful memories for me, and I’m extremely thrilled with them.
In the meantime, Gulshan, who most recently appeared in the film “8 A.M. Metro” alongside Saiyami Kher, will shortly start shooting his forthcoming action-thriller movie “Ulajh,” which also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Malayalam actor Roshan Mathew.
