Gowtam Tinnanuri Clears The Air On Kingdom

Vijay Devarakonda’s Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, is now running in theatres and getting a good response.

In a recent interview, Gowtam shared that the team worked non-stop till the last minute before release. He finally relaxed after seeing the audience’s positive reaction.

He said the team considered titles like Devara Nayak and Yuddhakanda before settling on Kingdom, as it suited all languages.

Many fans questioned the removal of a popular song. Gowtam explained that though the song was part of the script, it was removed during editing as it disrupted the story’s flow. The decision was made with Naveen Nooli and Naga Vamsi, and they may add it in the OTT version.

Gowtam also revealed he’s planning a web film based on Kingdom characters Murugan and Sethu, and is working on a new music-based film titled Magic, featuring Anirudh’s music and Girish Gangadharan’s visuals.
