Gopichand reveals his first remuneration details

Not many are aware that action hero Gopichand made his silver screen debut as a hero with the 2001 film, Tholi Valapu. As the film bombed at the box office, Gopichand didn’t get recognization and left with no option to turn as a villain.

With director Teja’s 2022 film, Jayam Gopichand turned as the on-screen baddie. Starring Nithiin and Sada as the lead pair, Jayam,a village drama went on to become a blockbuster hit at the box office and Gopichand’s villainism act got good appreciation. Later, there is no looking back for Gopichand as he again turned as the hero with the 2005 rustic drama, Yagnam and has been continuing as the lead actor.

Meanwhile, in a recent promotional event for his soon to release film, Pakka Commercial, Gopichand revealed that his first remuneration details. Speaking at a event, Gopichand said that he was given Rs 11000 for acting in Jayam and reminded those struggling days. Coming to Pakka Commerical, co-starring Raashi Khanna as the female lead, this courtroom drama is directed by Maruthi and is scheduled for a July 1st release.
