Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy shooting for his film Godfather, which is a remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer, starring Mohanlal in the leading role. The required changes to the original script have been made, according to the sensibilities of the Telugu audiences, and Tamil director Mohan Raja is directing the film.
According to the latest reports, writer Lakshmi Bhupala has walked out of the film, and it is being said that the team of the film is speculating including Sai Madhav Burra as one of the writers. Sai Madhav previously worked on Megastar’s Khaidi No 150 and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. While several sequences from Lakshmi Bhupala’s script have been shot, the team is looking forward to Burra’s script. Sai Madhav Burra is also one of the most in-demand writers currently, working on several big projects. Nayanthara is the leading lady of this film, making this her second collaboration with Chiru, after Sye Raa.
On the other hand, Megastar also started shooting for director Bobby’s film recently and is expected to start shooting for Bhola Shankar, a remake of the Tamil film Vedhalam, very soon.
