Godfather shoot still pending

Megastar Chiranjeevi is gearing up for his second release of the year, Godfather, directed by Mohan Raja. The film is an official remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer, and features Nayantara as the leading lady, while Satyadev will be seen in an important role, and Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan will be seen in a key role.

The first song from the film, Thaar Maar Thakkar Maar, was released yesterday, in which Chiru and Salman can be seen dancing together, and the film is all set to be released on October 5th, on the occasion of Dasara. The shooting of the major talkie part of the film was wrapped up a long time ago, but the movie is not said to have wrapped up completely yet.

Chiru is said to still take part in the shooting of one last song, a special song, after which the movie is expected to wrap up. There are decent expectations on Godfather, and it is to be seen how the film will finally perform at the box office.
