Godfather: A changed film

When a movie is remade, it is naturally changed to fit the sensibilities of the audiences of that particular language, and as such, goes through some major changes. Sometimes, this results in a better story, and sometimes, it results in a story that is less impressive than the original.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film, Godfather, is also said to have gone through the same process now. The movie is an official remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer, and the Telugu version is said to not feature some characters from the original, while Nayantara’s character plays a more important role in the remake, than it did in the original.

Mohan Raja directed Godfather, which is all set to be released on October 5th, on the occasion of Dasara. The film features Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan in a key role, while Satya Dev will be seen in a negative shade in the film.
