Superstar Rajnikanth has made it clear that he has political aspirations and his fans have been asking him to enter into politics. He has been waiting for the right time and opportunity. With two forces, DMK and AIADMK being too strong and looking at what Vijayakanth had to face by fighting with both of them, Rajnikanth decided to wait till he can gain the suport of political environment too. He needed people to feel a requirement of his leadership and with AIADMK going through crisis, his entry can guarantee a definite Kingmaker role for him.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan has taken the first step and announced that he has entered politics and it is only matter of time, before he can find the money and enter the politics in full fledged manner. With him taking time to complete his films, Rajnikanth can become the first one to develop a party with infrastructure and ask Kamal to join him as well. Rajni is conducting few fan meets in Tamil Nadu and the actor has announced in the first one that he is going to announce a statement regarding his political entry on 31st December.

He said, “I did not plan to become a hero. I wanted to become an actor and K. Balachander, my guru, said I am a good villain. When I was at the peak of my career with villain roles, one producer asked me to sign as a hero. I denied him and when he is persistent, I asked him for 50 thousand as remuneration. That time I used to take 25k to 30k. He gave me 30k as advance and even told me the casting. I immediately took the opportunity, do destiny made me a hero on screen even though I never planned to do so. Similarly, if God is willing then I will make an announcement on 31st December. Politics are nothing new for me and my entry is a point of winning that is it.” Well, let’s wait and see, what Superstar has in his mind.
