Manchu Manoj is coming in an unique dual role as a student leader in present and LTTE chief, Prabhakaran. His new film Okkadu Migiladu is releasing on 10th of November and the actor decided to speak to media about his character and the movie.
He said, “In this movie, I will not have any kind of elevations and I will be seen as one of he characters. I had to work hard to understand LTTE chief Prabhakaran’s mindset to play his role. Also, the student role has a major arc in the entire scheme of things. Both are highly emotional and audience will have an emotional ride watching the movie.”
“We are a bunch of young guys who had a story and wanted to make a movie. Right from making to theaters we are facing issues and I got fed up with all this. Eve though I am not interested in politics I will one day get into social service and my brother convinced me to fight it out in my style rather than giving up,” said Manoj. He said that even though they faced hundreds of problems in making this movie, they stuck it out and made exactly the movie they wanted to make. As the movie is also about oppressed he felt lot of connection with his current situation to the things happening around in the society. Soon, the actor will start shooting for his next in the direction of a debutant.
