A video from filmmaker Sanjay Gupta’s funeral has sparked debate on social media after his daughter Dalia was seen making a middle-finger gesture towards paparazzi.
As the video went viral, filmmaker Milap Zaveri shared an emotional statement from Sanjay’s wife, Anuradha Lekhi.
She requested the media and public to respect her children’s privacy as they are dealing with the loss of their father. Anuradha thanked family members, friends, fans and the media for supporting them during this difficult time.
She revealed that Sanjay died after suffering a serious head injury in an accidental fall. She also explained that her children were deeply disturbed by the sudden media attention.
Apologising for their reactions she requested everyone to understand their pain and avoid sharing videos that could hurt them further.
