On Day 2 of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) launch on Saturday night, American supermodel Gigi Hadid put to rest the controversy surrounding Varun Dhawan carrying her into the stage in his arms.
Gigi posted the popular video of Varun’s activity on her Instagram Stories. She wrote, “@Varundvn making my Bollywood dreams come true”.
Varun Dhawan claimed it was planned, despite the fact that it appeared spontaneous. The video even shows RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani applauding Gigi as she is brought back by Varun to the area where the famous guests had gathered. Yet, social media users criticised Varun for mistreating a lady and claimed that Gigi Hadid appeared insulted.
Intriguingly, Gigi Hadid looked stunning in a white and gold Chikankari saree by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, two of Mumbai’s most well-known fashion designers, teamed with a gold statement top.
Varun Dhawan responded saying, “I guess today you woke up and decided to be woke. So lemme burst ur bubble and tell u it was planned for her to be on stage so find a new Twitter cause to vent about rather than going out and doing something about things.”
