Allu Aravind’s mother, Allu Kanakaratnamma, passed away recently, and her final ceremony was conducted yesterday with the presence of family members and many celebrities from the film industry.
On the other hand, Allu Aravind has landed in a controversy regarding construction issues. The Town Planning officials of GHMC have served him a show-cause notice over the illegal construction of a penthouse at Allu Business Park located in Jubilee Hills Road No. 45, Hyderabad.
According to reports, permission was granted only for four floors, but an additional penthouse was built without official approval.
The officials have demanded an explanation from Allu Aravind on why the penthouse should not be demolished. So far, he has not responded to the notice.
Apart from being one of the wealthiest producers in Indian cinema, Allu Aravind has invested heavily in Hyderabad real estate.
The Allu family has already built a film studio in Kokapet, and a theatre is also under construction there.
