The trailer of Varun Tej’s much-awaited film Ghani, written and directed by Kiran Korrapati, has been released today. Produced by Siddhu Mudda and Allu Bobby, Ghani is the tale of a boxer, played by Varun Tej, and the trailer perfectly showcases the essence of the film.
Saiee Manjrekar is the leading lady of Ghani, which is also packed with a stellar supporting cast, which includes names such as Upendra, Sunil Shetty, Jagapathi Babu and Nadiya, all of whom seem to be playing heavyweight characters in the film. Ghani’s trailer establishes that our leading man goes ahead with being a boxer against his mother’s wishes. His goal is to win the nationals, which is how he wants his mother to know that he’s a boxer.
There’s also a lot of family drama involved in the film, as evidenced by a dialogue, where Ghani says that he feels bad to have been born as Vikramaditya. Who is Vikramaditya, and what happened there seems to be an interesting thread. Thaman is the music director of the film and has provided an exceptional background score for the trailer as well. Ghani is all set to be released on April 8th.
